There is no such thing as a safe tan if it involves UV radiation. We all know that tanning beds cause skin cancer. So does sun bathing—prolonged exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays. But, truth be told, there’s a hole in the ozone layer. The ozone layer, protects life on earth from the sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation.
